I had a really great weekend with a group of wonderful ladies in Pigeon Forge where I spoke at their retreat. I heard great testimonies and wonderful reports. They were awesome.
On the way home, I went by Jackson County North Carolina, the setting for Revenge. (It will also be the setting for "Bad Blood" that will be out before too long.) I enjoyed showing a friend all the places that are vital to the book and show her the town of Sylva. We ate at "Hoopers" restaurant on Main Street. It is the most beautiful town. I met some people from Florida, that bought my book and I signed it for them. They were the sweetest couple, soon to be married 49 years. I talked with a gentleman at Hoopers that knew my cousins. It was almost like it was my hometown (LOL). Being there inspired me all over again and I wrote on "Bad Blood" like a mad-woman last night. I plan on doing the same every night and all through the weekend for the next two weeks. Talk to you soon and hopefully meet you at the number of signings I have in October. Hugs, Ann
