Life is Great!!!!

I had a really great weekend with a group of wonderful ladies in Pigeon Forge where I spoke at their retreat.   I heard great testimonies and wonderful reports.   They were awesome.

On the way home, I went by Jackson County North Carolina, the setting for Revenge. (It will also be the setting for "Bad Blood" that will be out before too long.)  I enjoyed showing a friend all the places that are vital to the book and show her the town of Sylva.  We ate at "Hoopers" restaurant on Main Street.  It is the most beautiful town.  I met some people from Florida, that bought my book and I signed it for them.  They were the sweetest couple, soon to be married 49 years.   I talked with a gentleman at Hoopers that knew my cousins.  It was almost like it was my hometown (LOL).

Being there inspired me all over again and I wrote on "Bad Blood" like a mad-woman last night.  I plan on doing the same every night and all through the weekend for the next two weeks.   Talk to you soon and hopefully meet you at the number of signings I have in October.

Hugs,

Ann

Off To Pigeon Forge This Weekend

This weekend I will be speaking on Saturday to a group of ladies in Pigeon Forge. Soooo excited about this. There is nothing like a group of ladies when we get together. LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!

Last week's signing at Waynesboro was super. But since then, sales have dwindled a little (the first major slowdown and concerned me.. I am new at this.). I would love for any of you that will to post my book again on your FB or websites to see if there is someone of your friends that may have meant to buy it but have forgotten about it. I welcome all reviews on Amazon and all the book sites you may belong to (i.e. Goodreads, etc).

Looking foward to October and into November when the signings are more frequent. I hope to meet many more of you.

I am writing on "Bad Blood" but need to kick it in high gear. When I am away at signings, it will give me a great opportunity to concentrate on writing in between.

Keep thinking about me....and tell others. I think about you,my readers, more than you know. Your encouragement keeps me going.

Hugs,

Ann

Signing This Weekend

I will be at the Wayne County Public Library in Waynesboro TN on September 15 from 10:00 until 1:00. Come by and see me. It's just after homecoming game the night before, so hopefully lots of you will be in town. Also there is a huge festival on the Square in town. FUN FUN!!!!

I have added another tentative signing in North Carolina in October (more about this another day).

We dedicated three new additions to our family this weekend at church. My son and daughter-in-law were blessed with three beautful siblings all under five years of age (when they got them). All was final in July and this was a super weekend of dedication and making them a permanent part of the PHILLIPS family (we actually already had but this was a formality).. We had 6 in a horse show on Saturday. 15 grandchildren. WOW!!! I would have never believed it if you told me this back in High School. (LOL).

Writing on Bad Blood is exciting but having to push to find the time the last week. Next week HAS to be better.

See you Wayne Countians on Saturday. I will have books with me if you have not already gotten yours.

Hugs,

Ann
