They say book Trailers are a new thing that works. So I will try one. At least I have some smart computer people that can help some...give me pointers on making it better. (Think movie trailer but for a book.) I have gotten someone to speak as Nathe and changed the back of the book description into first person and let him tell what the book is about. It will be filled with mountain pictures and other phots that I feel depict some of the feelings you might get with Revenge.
On another note, I am still setting up more signings for Revenge and talking with more readers from other states. I am trying to figure a way to get signings where they are located as they are asking for me to autograph their copies (YAY). Open to suggestions if you would like me in your area. If you are a part of a book club, I will gladly come to those, talk to you about the book, AND sign the books if you like. There is nothing I would like more than to meet more of you readers. Hugs, Ann PS: BAD BLOOD is taking shape and I am enjoying writing it.

My life just got a lot busier. The following is my schedule as of today. If it changes, I will post it on my web site and try to update you. I hope I get to see some of you at one of the places I will be.

If you already have a book and want it signed, I will be more than glad to do that. There will also be books for sale at each of the signings. Hugs, Ann ...the first chapter of Book 3 "Sorrow"? It is now in an online anthology where I won second at the Alabama Writer's Conclave. Their anthology is at alalit.com and I am about page 151 but look in the table of contents to be sure.
If you look in the winners at the end, you will see my name again in another category where I won the honorable mention for an article. They did not put those in the anthology (they did last year). I would love to have you read that first chapter of "Sorrow" and respond to me either here, on FB, or by email. You all are the greatest!!!! Again, go to alalit.com. Hugs, Ann I am over 1/4 of the way through "Bad Blood" but not quite 1/3. Today, I had real breakthough. You may not know it, but sometimes when you are writing, it's almost like you stop telling the characters what to do, and they start telling you what is happening or going to happen. This was one of those days. I listened in on a conversation of Addie with someone (you will find out who in the book...LOL). It really seemed like I was listening to them and not writing it at all. THAT was super fun!!!! I thought, "Cool. Who knew you were going in that direction". They looked at me and said "WE DID!!!" True, I did not sleep well last night but it was a "Yahoooo" moment for me. I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I am writing it. That would make my day...no my week...better yet, my YEAR,
HUGS Ann Just letting you all know that I am writing consistently on the next book, Bad Blood. I am over 15,000 words. I now know how it begins, the big moments, and how it ends. I may have already told you there are several characters that are coming back, of course, but the youngsters are grown up and there are some new ones. I hope those new ones will be loved by you as I take them into Book 3, Sorrow.
Every time I sit down and start to write, I get so excited for you to read this one. Are any of you acquainted with a "book club"? I would love my book to be a part of one. I would be willing to come to one of their meetings (usually the last one) and sign their books, answer their questions, and talk with them about the book and let them ask me questions. Let me know if you pass my book as a suggestion for a book club. I know that one person in North Carolina emailed me and told me she had suggested my book to the local club. I offered the same thing, i.e. meet with them, etc. I would appreciate it so much. Hugs, ANN HELLO,
General Assembly was super. I signed books in Lakeland, FL, went to church Sunday, then went to the East Coast and started up A1A headed north. Spent the first night in Daytona Beach. Loved being on the balcony and writing with the ocean in the background. Next stop was St. Augustine where we stayed in B&B in old St. Augustine and walked the streets. Oh yeah, and wrote at night. Today, we went by where my daughter and family were vacationing on an island out of Jacksonville. There I handed out my book cards to readers on the beach. It was fun telling them about the book and seeing their interest and promises to check it out. I wish I had carried dozens of more cards with me to the beach and met more people. They were so friendly and excited about meeting an author. I finally THINK I AM ONE.....that was exciting too. Tonight we are in Charleston, SC. We were here last year but didn't get to do all we wanted on that short trip. This is our second chance to do them. I am writing this, and then will write more on the book tonight and, hopefully, again early in the morning. I have 5 chapters completed. It is taking shape and I love living with some of the main characters of "Revenge" again as they tell me what is going on in their life in 1893. Hugs, Ann I have been writing faithfully EVERY day. In between shopping and hearing all about my husband's business meetings. I am at almost 8,000 words (To make sense of that, I usually do 65,000-75,000 words a book...sometimes more). But its a good start and more to come today. Some days are good writing days, some are good research days.
Another note: The judge's gavel just hit the table!!! The adoption is final for my three wonderful grandchildren to my son and daughter-in-law. They are finally a TRUE FAMILY (although they have felt that for over 6 months, but it's now legal). They adopted 3 siblings that are just beautiful and the most wonderful spirit. They have no idea how fortunate they are to get these parents that love them so very much. Back to writing. Thank you all for every time you visit the web site, for everytime you recommend my book, post it on your FB or Twitter account, post in you Pinterest account...ALL of it. You have helped me get the word out and I am so very appreciative to all of you. Hugs, Ann Day one of my two week vacation...well at least from my "day job". I actually do a day job of Medical Transcription. Alas, they tell me that all writers need a day job. If I have to have one, this the best, BUT i have not taken a REAL vacation in ages. But to me a vacation means time to write freely. So I hope to get lots more written on "Bad Blood" these two weeks.
My husband is in business meetings this week and I am with him hereb in the Hilton on International Drive in Orlando, Florida. One week will be spent here, and the next one in various places between here and my home in Tennessee. BUT, the most important thing is, I plan to be writing a portion of every day. You, my writer friends, are going to push, prod, and keep me honest. You are my accountability partners. You may ask how much I wrote on any given day by responding on the web site, and I will TELL you. I won't tell you WHAT I have written, but I will be able to tell you how many pages or how many words. That way others will be able to know that "Bad Blood" is on its way to each of you.... hopefully completed and published in late November. (Thank goodness I already have some written and an outline of what is to happen!!) : ) Give me feedback my friends. Challenge me to write. Hugs ANN I won second in the Alabama Writers Conclave for one of the sequels to Revenge..the story SORROW. It has been a wonderful night. I even sent along a few pictures. Nice to get a "check" attached to it too. LOL.
