Monument Valley

Went to see the Lone Ranger!!  It was so cool to see where we had ridden in Monument Valley just one month ago. For those of you who have heard about my "melt down" story that I had on Sam in Monument Valley while riding horses, perhaps now you can see why!!!  For those who did not hear it, Our Navajo guide wanted us to go up a steep, sandy bank along the edge. I melted down, slid off the horse, shook like a leaf, dissolved into tears, sat under a bush, and threatened to walk out of the desert!!!   No amount of coaxing by either could change my mind!!! We had to return the way we came, along the rim (scary enough by itself). If I went up that embankment I KNEW I would fall into what looked like the Grand Canyon to me!!!  It looked just like the movie showed it to be.  I wouldn't take anything for the adventure we had, but "melt down" on him I did  LOL.   Funny, and entertaining movie. Sam just said , "you would ride up that bank now, wouldn't you?"  NOT IN THIS LIFETIME!!!

(I know you guys are feeling sorry for Sam for taking me along!!!). :)
