I am really excited about going to my hometown for a book signing at the Lawrence County Public Library on May 11 from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. I will be speaking a short time on how the book came about and how genealogy can be used in both fiction and family story projects. There will be a short question/answer time at the end of the presentation, and then I will be signing books. My section starts promptly at Noon on May 11. Both my books, Revenge and Bad Blood, will be available.

There will be three other authors presenting and signing on that day also. They are Kathleen Gandy, Howard Goode, and Wanda Jones.

I really hope that friends and family come by to see me.

Maybe it was the signing in Hendersonville that prompted a deluge of emails today on Bad Blood!!! This is another one.

"I finished Bad Blood!!! It was totally amazing! The characters were incredibly believable, as well as being totally human. It was so easy to get lost in the book. I can hardly wait for your next book, and then to read Sorrow after that one. You are becoming a great writer and are topping my list for 'can't wait till the next one is published!!!"

I received this email today regarding my latest book "Bad Blood".

"...I decided I would make it a point to read at least 5 to 10 pages every night before going to bed till I finished (as I am so busy) but couldn't put the book down...I Loved it. Even more so than Revenge....I missed (reading) while the children were growing up, and losing myself in a good story and feeling like I was there, and you are definitely a good writer to "take me away". You better keep writing because you to me are right up there with my favorite authors, John Grisham, James Patterson...I am back to collecting the Nancy Drews/got all my Laura Ingalls books, and I am just excited about "Books" again.............Good stories...........make you feel good stories, and you are a great writer to make that happen.."
