The race is underway. I am very excited about the book. The sales are going even better than I expected. I hope you are enjoying it. The transition was not perfectly smooth. There were glitches in the transition from file to ebook. Some my fault. Some amazons. I apologize for The Inconvenience. Now things are getting smoother with most of the glitches resolved for those uploading now. No more broken lines and words missing. At least I hope.
I know that dialect and mountain vernacular is not always easy to read. I tried to walk a tightrope between maintaining the authenticy of many words And making it easy to read. My parents used so many of these words and they Are familiar to me. Are any of them words you have heard? I cannot count the times I have had to explain what a "sidling place" is. LOL. Do you know?
Hope for help
Votch for someone
Tell me about the words you were familiar with and maybe some you weren't. Do you have words you have heard that are "different"? Tell them to me.
